Gisimba Memorial Centre is an orphanage located in the Nyamirambo district of Kigali, Rwanda. We support the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of our residents, which enables them to have a positive childhood and prepares them for a successful future. Currently we have one keyboard, three classical guitars, and electric guitars that are available to the public for private study. Our studio is a space where our children and youth can come to practice these instruments. Volunteers from the community and abroad are encouraged to come and use this space to teach musical skills to our residents. We are also developing a music library that will allow our growing musicians to be pro-active further their musical education on their own.
